Quantum.
§ about

The operating system for high-stakes capital.

We are cryptographers, systems engineers, and former bankers, building the secure data room for the deals that move the world — M&A, capital, and rescue. The tools used to move money are too slow and too insecure. We rewrote them.

§ why we rewrote the VDR

A $10bn merger shouldn't feel like Windows 95.

Legacy data rooms are wrappers around old Java backends. They prioritise enterprise feature lists over speed and security. We took the opposite approach — we started with the physics of the data.

We chose Rust for memory safety, Canvas for rendering, and per-user fingerprints for attribution.

Our principles.

Performance is a feature

If the UI lags, the deal slows down. We hold every interaction to 60fps and large documents open without the wait.

Paranoid security

We assume the network is compromised, and the admin too. We build systems — like sealed bids — that don't rely on trust.

Radical simplicity

Complexity lets bugs hide. We cut features that don't serve the core mission of the deal.

§ where we build

Built in Cape Town. Deployed globally.

Headquartered in South Africa — a vantage point on emerging-market mining, infrastructure, and capital that shapes how we build.

Build the room deals run on.

We're a small team solving hard problems in security and performance.
